Rome) was initiated by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). Amongst its special features are coverage of articles in periodicals etc., and intense subject indexing for titles entered since 1996. The database currently (March 2002) contains about 330,000 titles, of which 94,000 articles.
